Description

Based on a map section of Dartmouth, South Devon UK. An original artwork in my series of miniature mixed-media cartographic pieces. Mounted in white card and ready for you to frame at home, in your choice of 8×8 inch frame!

This piece uses gold coloured metallic leaf, which makes the main body shimmer in the light. It also incorporates little “sea-glass boats” made from genuine sea glass which I have collected from the local shoreline.

Due to the reflective nature of the materials I have used, this piece changes in different light conditions – adding to the beauty and originality of painting. You can also see a short video clip of this piece here.
